Andrea Jackson writes romance and science fiction novels and has been awarded recognition in several romance writing contests. About Stefanie

Stefanie Worth’s debut novel, Where Souls Collide, recently won the Science Fiction category of the 2008 African American Literary Awards Show. Stefanie enjoys writing stories about everyday women facing supernatural dilemmas. In life and love, these heroines take chances with their choices that lead the reader through twists and turns that whisk them from ordinary to otherworldly, from “what if” to “why not?”

She is a former news anchor for National Public Radio affiliate KBIA and ABC-TV affiliate KOMU (both in Missouri) and WJLB radio in Detroit. Stefanie has also been published locally by the Metro Times and Michigan Chronicle newspapers, and nationally by Class, Black Excellence and Upscale magazines. Her writing honors include winning first place in the 1993 Paul Laurence Dunbar poetry contest sponsored by the Detroit Writers Guild; having a poem featured in the Metro Times 1992 annual Summer Fiction Issue; and being recognized by the National Newspaper Publishers Association (NNPA) for the Michigan Chronicle’s Compositions section.

Stefanie’s latest work, a novella titled Can You Believe, appears in The Holiday Inn anthology. When not penning fiction, she directs communications for the local chapter of a national nonprofit.

RAWSISTAZ Literary Group presents their 7th Annual Readers & Writers Conference on December 8-13, 2008, held entirely online. The RAWSISTAZ Affair is an annual face-to-face reunion/gathering with online and offline book clubs, authors, readers, and other literary enthusiasts. 2008 marks the first year we’ve had this event entirely ONLINE, but is our seventh year having the event.

RAWSISTAZ Literary Group was established in September 2000 and is committed to the support and promotion of books by, for and about African-Americans. We currently have an online book club, a literary hang-out for readers and writers with approximately 600 members across the country, a review team called The RAWSISTAZ Reviewers with a repository of over 4500 reviews, and local chapters in eight major cities.
