I remember when I first meet Brenda at the library in Glenn County, I was amazed when I saw her two years later she remembered me.

Talking to Brenda is the same as talking to you sister, the conversation is full of love, fun, kindness, and friendship.

Meeting Brenda in Little Rock. I think in 2002. Having dinner with her and some other book club fans that Friday night and going to her book signing on Satuday and getting all of my books signed. I remember meeting her aunt Jenny & her cousin Jackie. I will always remember how approachable and down to earth she is.

I’ve only met Brenda once, so of course it sticks out in my mind. We had a dinner in Dallas, and she was just so sweet and took time out to talk to everyone and make them feel special. What I remember most though is when my good friend Sharon & I presented Brenda with a gift of appreciation and tears welled up in her eyes. She was truly touched.

I’ll never forget that day. And even though that was the only time we’ve met, she still remembers me, and that makes me feel great!

Thanks Darla & Toni for sharing your favorite Brenda Jackson moment.
