Victorious Living for Women Blog Tour

How Would You Define Victorious Living?

Deana Murphy says, “I don’t believe there’s anyway to be victorious or live victoriously apart from knowing and living by the Word of God.

I believe victorious living is first realizing that by default, we already have the key to Victorious Living. We are already victorious through Jesus Christ. Yet Victorious Living is also appropriating and manifesting victory in every area of our lives by hearing and doing what His word says. Standing on His promises regardless of the circumstances and situations; unwavering until the answer manifests no matter how long it takes. This is our faith which is the victory that overcomes the world’s circumstances.”

Angela Brown says “Victorious Living to me is living successfully and conquering the challenges that are put before us. I think Victorious Living is following the path that God has set forth for each of us by having faith and without doubting or questioning, just following and winning! Being victorious!”

Deanna Murphy said it perfectly. When we remember during trying times who our Father is and that He’s already won the battle for us, you can live victorious in this life no matter what obstacles faces you.

  4. 'Cilla says:

Amen.. Amen.. (Putting on my list of 2010 purchases) :-)

  5. Marlive says:

    I really like today’s question:

How Would You Define Victorious Living?

It is . . . living a life that glorifies God for in Proverbs 3:6 (AKJV) it says, “In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.”

This sounds like a great collection of stories by faithful and awe-inspiring women; great tour!

    • Renee Williams says:

Again I say amen! LOL This does sound like a great collection of stories. Appreciate the support of the tour Marlive!

  6. I believe living a Victorious Life can only be obtained as we follow the pattern God has set for us in His word. We cannot live a powerful, blessed and prosperous life apart from Christ. I’m living not only a great life but victorious because the one who gave me the victory lives big in me

  7. Victorious Living means living a life full of the joy of the Lord understanding that no matter what comes He has it all in control. But the only way to get there is through carefuly study and meditation of the Word because if you don’t know His promises for your life you can’t stand on them.

Evangelist Cheryl Lacey Donovan is a Co-Author of Victorious Living for Women as well as the founder of Worth More than Rubies Ministries. Visit her at http://www.cheryllaceydonovan.com or visit the ministry website at http://www.worthmorethanrubies.org

  8. Victorious living is when we are in harmony with the Lord. When we listen to Him, live to please Him and we’re obedient to His word. To some that sounds like a lot of missing out on fun. But to those who know, it is the only way to have fun!

    • Renee Williams says:

I certainly agree Jacquie! To me, there is nothing better than worshipping and serving the Lord! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts.

  9. Linda says:

This book serves as a source of inspiration , encouragement and a tool to strengthened your resolve to hold fast to your faith, as we are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ when we have faith and walk in His Word. We may have to go through ,but we do not have to stay down.

  10. Greatings Kingdom Sisters and Friends. I must say that I agree with my co-authors on their responses. I would define victorious living as a life that is “sold out” to Christ. A life that seeks God’s agenda first and that consults him first before embarking on anything. I think that victorious living is realizing that you battle/fight is fixed and that no matter what you will always win. God provides everything that we need in all situations.

  11. I so enjoyed being a contributing author in the Victorious Living for Women book. Victorious Living is part of our inheritance as children of God. We’re suppose to win! When I need to be reminded, I read the other ladies stories and I am always encouraged. Glory to GOD!

  12. Like others who have responded to this question, I also believe there are many, many examples of victorious living in the Bible. Psalm 112 is one of my favorites and defines victorious living soooo well!

For those who may not be Bible students or followers of Christ; don’t know or even care to know God at all – consider it. Whether we admit it or not, we’re designed to worship something. You can verify this by just listening to your own and others’ conversations. Sooner or later, you’ll “hear” what they (& you) worship. Then get brave & ask God to make Himself known to you… go ahead and add “tell me if Jesus (also named Yeshua) Your Son & the only way to You?” When you get your answer, you’ll be ready to say this:
Jesus, save me. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Spirit. Guide me in living my extraordinarily victorious life that You planned.

Renee, Thank you for opening this discussion based on the topic of this Victorious Living book. It sounds like it will be a blessing to MANY for a very long time… so I am in agreement with you and the Authors that — in the Name of Jesus, it WILL do what God has planned for it to do in the earth. It WILL reach, deliver and bless those God has planned.
